2 Timothy 2:16, 23-24 (NLT)...

FROM TODAY'S READING (3/9/2017)...

"Two types of voices command your attention today. Negative ones fill your mind with doubt, bitterness, and fear. Positive ones purvey hope and strength. Which one will you choose to heed?"

Max Lucado

2 Timothy 2:16, 23-24 (NLT) Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior...Again I say, don’t get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people.

Proverbs 17:4 (NLT) Wrongdoers eagerly listen to gossip; liars pay close attention to slander.

Proverbs 18:8 (NLT) Rumors are dainty morsels that sink deep into one’s heart.

Titus 3:1-2 (NLT) Remind the believers...They must not slander anyone and must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle and show true humility to everyone.
