2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NLT)...

FROM TODAY’S READING (2/27/2019)...

This post titled “What Cancer Cannot Do” is shared with sensitive regard for how impacting cancer is. My mother dealt with it twice, my dad once, and me once. I share this with a sincere prayer and empathy for anyone having to deal with it now...

Cancer is so limited....
It cannot cripple love.
It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot corrode faith.
It cannot eat away peace.
It cannot destroy confidence.
It cannot kill friendship.
It cannot shut out memories.
It cannot silence courage.
It cannot reduce eternal life.
It cannot quench the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NLT) That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
