FROM TODAY’S READING (3/27/2019)...
“I’m pretty sure we are not going to enter the gates of heaven with God greeting us saying, ‘Child, I am so proud of you. Look at how right you were.’ I am more confident that God desires for us to experience the joy of being right with one another, not more right than another, and that He is asking for where we stand on issues to be way less important and sacred than the God we stand under together.”
Elizabeth Hasselbeck (“Point of View”)
John 13:34-35 (NLT) So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
1 Peter 4:8 (NLT) Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.
Ephesians 4:2-4 (NLT) Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
