Proverbs 3:5-7 (NLT)

 FROM TODAY’S READING (12/28/2020)...

NEW YEAR THOT...

“As we look ahead to the new year...don’t forget to look in the rearview mirror. It’s very often in the rearview mirror that we see God’s action in our life. The year that’s ending...lot of sadness, lot of setback, lot of heartache. But when we look back we’re also going to express gratitude and praise to God that he got us through and that he inspired sacrificial generous people to come through when we needed it most. We’re going to see his hand there. And we’re going to see his hand in 2021.”

Cardinal Timothy Dolan

Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-7‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

‭‭

Proverbs‬ ‭16:8-9‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Better to have little, with godliness, than to be rich and dishonest. We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
