Ephesians 2:8-9 (NLT)

FROM TODAY'S READING...

Through many dangers, toils and snares

I have already come:

'tis grace has brought me safe thus far,

and grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me,

his word my hope secures;

he will my shield and portion be

as long as life endures.

by John Newton (1725-1807)

"Amazing Grace!"

2 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭14‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭4‬-‭7‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) But— When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.
