Proverbs 1:7 (NLT) Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
Proverbs 9:9 (NLT) Instruct the wise, and they will be even wiser. Teach the righteous, and they will learn even more.
Proverbs 12:15 (NLT) Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others.
Proverbs 14:15-16 (NLT) Only simpletons believe everything they’re told! The prudent carefully consider their steps. The wise are cautious and avoid danger; fools plunge ahead with reckless confidence.
Proverbs 18:15 (NLT) Intelligent people are always ready to learn. Their ears are open for knowledge.
Proverbs 22:3 (NLT) A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.
