Hebrews 6:18-19 (NLT)

 FROM TODAY’S READING (2/1/2021)...

“Our hope is not hung upon such an untwisted thread as, “I imagine so,” or “It is likely,” but the cable, the strong tow of our fastened anchor, is the oath and promise of Him who is eternal [truth]. Our salvation is fastened with God’s own hand, and with Christ’s own strength, to the strong stake of God’s unchangeable nature.”

Samuel Rutherford (1800-1861)

1 John‬ ‭5:11-12‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.

Hebrews‬ ‭6:18-19‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) ...Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls...
