1 Timothy 4:4-5 (NLT)

FROM TODAY'S READING...

Happy Blessed Thanksgiving Day...

“I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens.”

Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865)

16th President of the United States

1 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks. For we know it is made acceptable by the word of God and prayer.

1 Chronicles‬ ‭16‬:‭34‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

Psalms‬ ‭100‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
